October 1990, 21 years ago, the first ever ‘one stop shop for children’ opened its doors on the Kings Road in London and on 1st October 2011 Trotters will be celebrating this great event.
To thank all our loyal customers, we will be throwing a big party, which will include:
- Petting Zoo
- Donkey Rides
- Victorian Carousel
- Fun dancing lessons from Feisty Feet Dance Studios
- Music from the Dixie Ticklers, a New Orleans Jazz Band
- Competitions
- Face Painting
- Caricatures
- Patisserie Valerie ice creams
- Homemade Pizzas by Manicomio
- Candy Floss and traditional style fete stalls
- Biscuit decorating with Partridges
- Party cupcakes from Peggy’s Cupcakes
- Entertainers, Gabriella & Octavia
- Plus, a quiet corner for mummies to be pampered by the team from Liz Earle
But that’s not all…there will be a celebrity opening and appearances; story telling and book signing by famous children’s authors as well as a Giant ‘pop-up’ Birthday Cake with Mr Trotter, the pig himself, making an appearance.
Trotters will be donating all proceeds on the day to their chosen charity The CAIRN Trust so Trotters can build their first school for children in rural Nepal.
