eCommerce Manager

Trotters Childrenswear is an independent retailer, specialising in quality, exclusive children's clothing, shoes and accessories.  We have six high-street stores, a successful online business and exciting expansion plans.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & E-Commerce, the E-Commerce Manager will join our team in our offices in North Acton, London.

 

We are looking for a commercially minded individual who is focussed on ROI and has a minimum of 5 years’ proven experience of creating and executing e-commerce strategies, managing a website to drive rapid growth. You will be proficient in Google Analytics, MailChimp, Magento (ideally) and order management system tools.

 

You will be responsible for:

Web Development Projects

  • Maintaining and growing the website including new projects and bug fixes, working with a 3rd party agency, payment provider and hosting solutions.
  • Developing a strategy to improve conversion and AOV, identifying areas for improvements and working to developing them
  • Managing the re-platforming of the website from A to Z
  • Managing the integration of our website with a new order management system
  • Review on-site engagement and identify areas for improvement within the e-commerce
  • Review all delivery options and make recommendations to improve them  

Implement the marketing strategy, plan for peak seasons and promotions onto the site

Merchandising the website & Managing all stock online

Sell-through analysis & reporting

  • Compiling weekly and monthly reports – feeding back to senior management team and advising on strategy

Email Marketing

  • Meet goals and targets for increasing conversion, AOV and revenue

Team:

  • Manage one direct report

 

The ideal candidate will live and breathe all things digital, has great communication skills and a desire to be best in class.

You have a broad digital background and will ideally have been working in digital for a retail or hospitality/travel brand.

You have strong organisational and analytical skills and you understand and can use web analytics tools to gauge trends and evaluate content.

Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple projects at the same time is essential. We are a small team and we're good at pulling together to get things done. You'll be comfortable being a self-starter, and in setting and achieving targets.

Microsoft Office Suite tools knowledge essential. Previous Magento experience desired but not essential.

 

Position: full-time and permanent

Hours of work: 9am – 5.30pm
