Buyer

An exciting position has come up for an experienced and established Buyer to join our Clothing Buying & Design team. The role will initially be for a minimum 12month contract.

We are looking for someone who understands the buying process from start to finish, with proven experience in buying and delivering successful ranges. 

This is a unique role that would suit somebody who has very strong commercial awareness and analytical skills, as well as being creative with a passion for product and detail.

You will be developing collections from start to finish, coming up with new ideas, and building ranges in line with the business strategy.

We are a small team and work closely with all functions across the business, including our merchandisers, marketing, online, warehouse, and store teams.

Experience required:

• Minimum of 6 years in a Buying role, ideally as a Junior Buyer or Buyer for at least 2 years
• Experience in running your own categories and being responsible for product development, range decisions, budgets and buys
• Experience in garment manufacturing processes, and working closely with factories
• Competent in using Excel (formulae, pivots, v-lookups)

Preferable but not essential:

• Background in Childrenswear
• Competent in Adobe photoshop
• Experience in sourcing and manufacturing in Europe
• Experience managing a BA/AB or JB

• Flexible working between home and our North Acton offices
