We use original vulcanisation machines from the 1950s to bond the 100% organic cotton canvas to the natural rubber soles. It is a true labour of love that takes about 20 minutes per shoe. Because we use heat instead of harsh chemicals to join the pieces together, the process is kinder to the environment and the people making them.

The best part? Instead of a chemical smell, our rubber pellets are infused with a fresh strawberry essence. It is our signature Trotters scent that parents and children love to find when they open a new shoebox.
